My Village
My village is Sadasiri Dunuwila. It is a small village in Kandy district
There are nearly two hundred families in my village. This is an agricultural area most of the village are farmers. They grow paddy fruits and vegetables. They take their produce to the Dambulla fair. There is a vast stretch of paddy fielded in my village. Farmers obtain water from the village tank for their cultivation purposes.
There are dispensary a cooperation shop a rural bank a sub post office and a historical temple in my village.
There are several govern servants too here. Most of them are teachers. There is plural development society and a death donation society in my village. The villagers are very friendly. They know the value of self help. I love my village.
