Sandasiri Dunuwila Village

My school name is Dunuwila Maha Bodhi Maha Viduhala. It is situated Sandasiri Dunuwila . There are a large number of students in my school. And also there are many teachers too. My class teacher name is Mr. Bowatha. My class teacher is very kind. We learn various subjects everyday. My favourite subject is English. There are many building in my school. All the teachers are very clever of. It is principal is Mr. Jayarathna. The vice principal name is Mr. Sarath. There are from grade 1 to 13 class in my school. All students are about three hundredts. There are twenty teachers in the staff. The staffs are twelve techers. There is library on my school.

My name is Rasika Madhumali Kumari Siriwardhana. I am a Sinhalese Buddhist girl. I am fourteen year old. I go to Dunuwila Maha Bodhi Vidyalaya. I live in Meegahalanda. I am in the year ten class there. My class teacher name is Mrs. Siriwardana.

My favourite game is netball. I like to fly kites because is makes me happy and proud. My favourite subjects are Sinhala, English, Maths and home Science.

Reading a books and gardening are my hobbies. My favourite author is the late Mr. Martin Wickrama Singhe. He is the author of “Madol Duwa”. The most interesting book. My favourite singer is Mrs. Nanda Malani.

Five members  are in my family. Father, mother, one brother and one sister. My father name is Gunathilaka Banda. He is a farmer. My mother is a housewife. She makes our meals, washes our clothes and makes the house.

My best friend is Nalika. She is good girl. I have pet. My pet is dog. It name is tomi. It is brown in colour.

The largest reservoir of Sri Lanka is Victoria which was built till 1978 to 1984 by the support of British government. There are two aims, one was to support the agriculture and the other was to support the necessity of electricity, a largest an highest was built a cross the Mahaweli river in a narrow place through to mountains.

This is the largest reservoir under Mahaweli reservoir project. One of the two natural towns, Theldeniya and other huge aria was covered with due to this reservoir and the people who lived in the area was moved to new colonies in Ulhitiya.
