About Us
Dunuwila Mahabodhi Vidyalaya is a school which is situated at Teldeniya Educational Zone in Kandy district, Central Province. The group of school is 1-C. There are about 500 students from grade 1 to 13. We need 26 teachers. The land of the school is 2 ½ acres. There are 3 main buildings including the computer unit, music room, dancing room, science laboratory and the library.
In addition to regular curriculum we do extracurricular activities like annual sports meet, English day competitions, literary competitions and annual educational tours. We were able to get through 27 students who sat for the G.C.E. O/L examination last year.
We have established a library building as a donation from Mrs. Ewa Maclem who lives in America and also the LAcNet institute www.lacnet.org has donated eight computers for the school.
